Do you know a New York City teen who loves to write? Who wants to be published? Who wants to help other teens by sharing their personal stories?
If so, please encourage them to apply to our 39th Annual Summer Writing Workshop.
Workshop participants receive one-on-one mentoring from a professional editor, write stories about their personal experiences, go on field trips, and make friends with other writers. Their stories are published in the award-winning YCteen and Represent magazines, which are read by tens of thousands people each year.
All participants receive a $1,000 stipend plus a daily MetroCard. The deadline for applications is May 18, 2018.
