We are training 100 staff at ten schools and agencies to improve the social and emotional learning (SEL) skills of teens so they can succeed at entry level jobs. 

 

In our story-based work readiness program, On My Way, the teen writers show how they use self-awareness, self-management, effective communication, and other soft skills to succeed at work. The program’s reading, writing, and discussion activities introduce teens to workplace expectations and help them practice the skills they will need on the job. We are grateful to HSBC Bank USA, N.A for its $92K scaling grant in support of this work.
