Help teens recognize and name their strengths, and discover they’re not alone in facing life’s most difficult challenges. Youth will learn about seven resiliencies — insight, independence, relationships, initiative, creativity, humor, and morality — that everyone needs to survive and thrive in even the toughest times.

Topics include: asking tough questions, taking charge, overcoming adversity

This Intervention includes:

• Professional Development (3.5 hours) session for staff: Help youth service professionals identify, label, and model SEL skills for teens and successfully implement this intervention. 

• Anthology of teen stories (The Struggle to Be Strong: True Stories About Overcoming Tough Times)

• Reproducible Worksheets for The Struggle to Be Strong 

• Curriculum Guide (A Leader’s Guide to The Struggle to Be Strong)

Choose a Curriculum & Training Package
(These packages are for the New York Metro Area only. Please contact us for info if you are outside of the New York area.)
Package A: 12 copies of the anthology, a curriculum guide, and one attendee at a training: $350**
Package B: 60 copies of the anthology, 5 curriculum guides, and up to 5 attendees at a training: $1,700**
Package C: 100 copies of the anthology, 10 curriculum guides, and an on-site training for up to 10 staff: $3,000
Package D: 200 copies of the anthology, 20 curriculum guides, and an on-site training for up to 20 staff: $5,750
