Change is difficult for everyone. It’s especially hard for youth, like those in foster care, who’ve already dealt with a lot of loss and upheaval. This program is designed to help.
Managing Transitions for Teens is a 16-session workshop to help youth deal with change.
The Leader’s Guide contains step-by-step instructions for teaching teens about the stages of transition and the tools they can use to cope, including how to apply those tools to a real transition they are trying to make in their lives right now.
The Teen Journal provides readings and worksheets and gives each participant a record of their accomplishments and a guide for future changes.
This Class Set contains 1 Leader’s Guide and 12 Teen Journals. All of the lessons were developed and tested with teens in our foster care program.

This curriculum is loosely based on the framework developed by William Bridges in his business classic Managing Transitions. We are enormously
grateful to the Andrus Family Fund for introducing us to the framework and supporting this project in every phase.
